Bankasana is a small pilgrim place located in Soraba Taluk of Shivamogga District. Here the river Varada and Dandavathi joins together. Here you can see the Lord "Hole Lingeshwara Temple" in between the river. Every year Holelingeshwara Jatre takes place on January 14. This place is near to historical town Banavasi. Ther is no accomodation facility in Bankasana. People can stay in Banavasi & Soraba.
